Nice article, thank you. Not sure what legal gyrations and gymnastics will be undertaken, but something Congress and the Courts need to do is tell the EPA that carbon dioxide is not a pollutant, and further to determine what levels, if any, of CO2 emitted by an automobile explicitly contribute to what degree of global temperature change. Such a limit is not unprecedented - radiation is administer by the LNT philosophy, and is acknowledged in low doses to be benign. If EPA can regulate CO2 emissions from a car, by reason they should be able to regulate procreation, since offspring produce more CO2 emissions.

The best way, of course, it to get the government out of the automobile business and let the market decide what works and where innovation is needed.

Thank you. That should be read by every American. I would ask one more question: on what constitutional basis would Congress have the right to direct the EPA to ban ICE vehicles? As Americans, we have the constitutional right to travel and I know of no authority that would give Congress the right to tell Americans by what method they can travel. Oh, and CO2 is plant food so how do they ban that?
